Alors que le proc\u00e8s opposant Epic Games \u00e0 Apple avait pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment abouti \u00e0 une d\u00e9faite pour l&rsquo;\u00e9diteur de Fortnite, la situation prend un tournant diff\u00e9rent dans le cas de Google. Voici les d\u00e9tails les plus importants de cette affaire, qui remet en question la <strong>position dominante de Google sur le march\u00e9 des applications mobiles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le proc\u00e8s Epic Games contre Google : un retournement de situation inattendu<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2020, Epic Games a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de d\u00e9fier les r\u00e8gles d&rsquo;Apple et Google en proposant une mise \u00e0 jour de Fortnite sur iPhone et les appareils Android. Cette initiative a entra\u00een\u00e9 l&rsquo;\u00e9viction du jeu tant du Play Store que de l&rsquo;App Store, car Epic Games tentait de contourner les commissions impos\u00e9es par les deux g\u00e9ants. Bien que la bataille avec Apple se soit sold\u00e9e par un revers cuisant, la situation a pris une tournure favorable pour Epic Games dans son litige avec Google.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Le verdict : Google coupable de monopole et d&rsquo;actions anti comp\u00e9titives<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le jury a tranch\u00e9 en reconnaissant que Google d\u00e9tient un monopole avec son Google Play Store et le service de facturation Google Play Billing. Plus significatif encore, la d\u00e9cision souligne que Google a recours \u00e0 des pratiques anti comp\u00e9titives pour maintenir cette position dominante.
